  1. "A Neighbouring man told me a story how he went astray one night coming from where he was working at Drumcondrath. When he was about a mile-and-a -half outside Drumcondrath he came to a path leading across the fields. He knew this path right well, but he was taken astray for four hours he got into a drain and got wet to his knees. His trousers were stiff with frost. He was in the adjoining field next morning"
