Ar an leathanach seo

  1. There are many feasts nights through out the year but the one at Hallow-Eve is looked forward to mostly by the children.
    When they come home from school they sit and watch their mothers prepare for the feast that night. She usually puts threepenny bits or rings in the pan-cakes so as to cause much excitment.
    Then the feast begins, everyone draws near the table anxios to know who will find the ring.
    Hallow-Eve also is celebrated with games of various kinds. An apple is tied from the ceiling and each in turn strives to get a bite at it.
    Another feast day is, St Stephen's Day. All boys and girls have great fun on this day, they dress up in all sorts of rags and go about from house to house dancing and singing some of them have musicial instruments
