- Long ago there was a very good poet named Patrick McGuire from Kildalkey, he was 76 years of age when he died. There was another man named Dennis Murray it is not known where he was from but he was buried in Ballivor. He was 80 years when he died.
Their ancestors were poets. The Dead Leaf and The Black Church were two songs composed by Dennis Murray. They wrote in English an Irish.
