Ar an leathanach seo

  1. 1. Whooping cough:- Whooping cough is cured by passing the patient under the belly of an ass three times.
    2. Sores on the face or legs:- Mix a quantity of bread soda with lukewarm water. Bathe the sores daily with this and in the course of time they fall off.
    3. The sting of a nettle:- Rub a dalkin leaf well against the sting and in due time the pain stops.
    4. A sore head:- A sore head is cured by a cap of ivy leaves.
    5. Stompatch trouble:- It is cured by eating raw or boiled dandeline.
    4. Piles:- Piles are cured by boiling pile roots and drinking the juice.
    7. Cold:- Slice a turnip, put it on a place, put brown sugar on it, cover it with a saucer, and leave it there, then give the juice of the turnip to the patient.
    8. Get some broom, boil it with sugar, strain it and give it to the patient. This is a cure for dropsy.
    9. Strains:- Get marsh mallow and tie it
