  1. Food in olden days.
    Long ago people only ate 3 meals each day. They would have yellow meal, porridge for their breakfast. champ for their dinner, and porridge again for their supper that night.
    They used to live on these three meals week after week, because they would never have anything else to eat. They never knew the taste of tea or coffee. Sometimes they would get wheaten bread but this would be very seldom.
    On a Christmas Day they would get currant bread and they would think this a great novelty.
    The people now-a-days could not live like this at all. Some people
