  1. Certain people have cures and those cures can be handed on from one generation to another, A woman can give a cure to a man and vice versa. The possessor of a cure once he or she parts with it can't re-call or take it back.
    A person who was born after death of its father has the cure of the 'dirty mouth'.
    The seventh successive daughter in a family has cure.
    Man and wife of the same surname have the cure for whooping cough,
    Several people haves cures in the locality,
    Bernard Brady, Fedans, Castleshane has cure for toothache. He gives the sufferer a juice of bread or sugar rolled up in paper and so long as the suffer keeps this on his person he won't take toothache.
    Mrs Farner, Creena, Castleshane has the cure of the 'sprain'. She takes a tight grip of the part sprained and says certain prayers. Sufferers must visit her three times.
    Mrs Clerkin, Lislirtrom has same cure.
    Frank Duffy, Romany has same cure.
    Mrs Gis. Clerkin, Ardaghan has same cure.
    Mrs Gus Gray, Corderlish has same cure.
    Miss Mc Heown, Clones Rd, Ballyboy has the same cure.
