Ar an leathanach seo

  1. About three or four miles from Borrisoleigh there is a conical mountain called Knockanure.
    Once there lived a Tipperary family called the Lanigans. One member of the family was elected M.P. and in honour of the event he erected a tower on top of this hill.
    About thirty years ago it fell. It was built in haste of bad stone called sligeen. It was a landmark for those living in North Tipperary.
    There now remains only a heap of stones, but it is still visited by the people on Tower Sunday in July.
