  1. Local Heroes.
    Shaun Burns, who worked for my grandfather when drawing hay in a wet summer, had the ill-luck to see the horse lodged in a soft gap. He lifted the car with the load of hay so that the wheels were well out of the soft mud and allowed the horse to pass out at his ease.

  2. Local Heroes.
    Edward Sheehy jumped from the top of the wall of the bridge of Toureen to the middle of the road and in another jump he landed on the top of the other wall without a fall.
