    A cobweb put on a wound stops bleeding.
    To cure sore eyes go to a place where four waters meet.
    Boil laurels and bathe the eyes with the liquid to cure stys in the eyes.
    To cure the "thrush" keep the gander in at night and on the following morning make him breathe into the child's mouth while fasted and he will cure the "trush."
    To cure a tooth-ache add one of the following - a bit of a pansy stem, a leaf of tobacco or a bit of soot.
