    made from potatoes. They used to boil the potatoes in a pot on the fire until the skin would crack, then they used to put the boiled potatoes on the red cinders to roast, when they were roasted and peeled, they would get into balls of flour so that with very little and flour - and sometime no flour they made potato cakes.
