    Warts: To paint the warts over with the slime off a frog's back.
    Joint out: A cloth rung out of pickle, and applied.
    Bleeding from nose: Lie flat and put a cold stone or key down the back.
    Head-ache: Soak a piece of brown paper in vinegar and apply to the forehead.
    Neuralgia: Boil the flowers of the camomile and apply the water to the face.
    Chilblains: Rub an onion to the sore part.
    Inward pain: Drink mixture of soot and salt.
    Drawing plaster: Apply mixture of equal parts of fine sugar and soap (soap).
