There is not any song about the townland of Ballinguiroe but there is about the parish. The name of it is. "Famous Kildorrery Town"
- There are the ruins of an old Catholic Church in Rossagh. It is situated in Gallaghers farm. The ruins of the four walls are about eight feet high. In the two long walls the spaces can be seen where the windows were.The ruins are covered with ivy, and (int) white thorn bushes grow in the interior. The name of it is Temple Haggard.There was a graveyard in front of the old Church and they say that some of the Kings of Munster were buried there.The priest's house was beside it. When Gallahers were living in the house it is said that they took the headstones(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
