The old people say that these cures are very good and they also say that in olden times the people were as easily cured as they are now by doctors. It is said that a dock-leaf can cure the sting of a nettle. Another cure is that chicken week can cure whooping cough. Dandelions are very good of a persons liver. A cure for sick cattle is that if twelve irons are put in the fire one of them is thown away and the eleven more put in the
