    The Dulhallow Foxhounds assembled one day.
    O'er sweet Derrygouna so brightly and gay.
    But their fore-most horsemen never drew rein.
    Till they met on the roadway the boys of "Sinn Féin".
    Saying "we won't let you hunt o'er our valleys and glens.
    While inside your jails are the best of our men.
    So quickly go home now and don't call again.
    'Till you will release the brave boys of Sinn Féin.
