    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    There are many forts in this district. Some of them are called lisses duns and forts. Some of them are in the parishes of Innishannon and Ballinhassig. There is a fort in Mr Fitzel's farm which has a big earthen wall around it and it also has a fence of bushes around it as well. The fort in Mr Sullivan's farm Annagh has a big wall of earth around and and there is a big hole through which the fairies are said to go in. It is said that it was the De Dannans who made those lisses long ago and lived in them. Mr. Sullivan has ploughed his fort for the past few years and has sat crops there. There is a story told about a man Ballinen. When he was ploughing a field he levelled a fort and after that he was blind. In the fort in Mr Sullivan's land there is music often heard there.
