  3. The candlestick our ancestors had long ago was made of rough iron. It was about a foot in height and it had stand of iron underneath.
    On one side of it there was a holder for a candle and on the other side there was a holder for a geataire giúise. There was a screw in the holder of the geataire giúise to loosen it and tighten it as required. I had the pleasure of seeing one of these one day when the Inspector
