“The animals the people keep in this part of the country are,”
The animals the people keep in this part of the country are, the donkey, the cow, the sheep, the horse and the bull. Each one of these animals get a name except the bulls and sheep. We have seven cows at home in our farm. Their names are Beauty, Violet, Polly, Blackie, Rose, Strawberry, Pet. When we milk them we cut turnips and they eat them. Sometimes we cut potatoes and mix meal with them. They eat ryegrass and it is called 'bribe'. Hay is given to them after they are milked. The cows are milked at four(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
