Nearly every cow has a name by which the family knows her, if she was bought she would be called the man's name from whom she was bought.
When driving the cows to or from the field nearly every person says "howey" "howey" is as not to let them go eating along the ditches.
The cows are usually lied round the neck with a chain and piece of rope, the chain is fastened to a "Bukhab" in the wall and the rope is knotted to it in a way that it cannot tighten and choke the cow.
The name usually given to a cows tying is a "spanchel" and sometimes a halter.
