Those forts were held by the Danes in olden days and when the battle was over their dead were buried.
They were able to make beer that could and never be made in Ireland again.
- An old churchyard at Tubrid
It is nearly cleared away now but there are some headstones there still.
There are may other similar graveyards around the locality. There is one at -
Tybroughny, Co Cill Coinnig.
