Mother's brother and cousin were watching a rick of turf one night, because people used to be stealing it, about half-past one in the morning, the child past over their heads screaming in the air, Mother's brother said "we ought to save the child by saying 'gorm mo costranik'" "We have enough to do to save ourselves" says the cousin. The next morning they heard that a neighbor's child of theirs was dead.
    This is a true story as told by my mother to me.
