    Stray Steps
    The old people tell many stories of fields in the district where there are stray steps.
    For instance in a meadow field belonging to James Early Mt. Allen House. Many people have gone astray in this field. Every person who went astray in this field could not find the direct path until he turned his coat and wore it inside out.
    There are a few other fields in which there are stray steps and I will name them. In a field of George Cooneys situated in the downland of Mt. Allen. Ina wood owned by Mrs. Frizzell Mt. Allen many people went astray for example Tom Flynn Mt. Allen.
    An old man named Michael Early who died some time ago often went astray in his own field. One night when he went astray a little man
