  2. One day the hunt was passing through the farm of Michael Larkin, Boulia. MacNamara, Inspector of Schools, was among the huntsmen. The Inspector fell off his horse. Michael Larkin saw what happened and went and caught horse. When MacNamara came up he accused Michael of breaking the bridle. It was the horse that broke the bridle. Michael was highly indignant at being falsely accused and immediately accused MacNamara of breaking a wooden water-trough that was across a gap. The old trough was useless and broken
