    Sunday and Thursday. There is a holy well in Killgorey, Mointin, Moneenroe 5 miles from Castlecomer. It is said that if a person who suffers from any disease goes to this well before the sun rises in the month of May she will be cured.
    On Easter Monday the boys have a certain custom to go around to each house gathering eggs. They call this day Hansel Monday and this custom Cubóg. It is also said that is is not lucky to put out ashes on Monday.
    It is not lucky to break the threshold of the door on Tuesday.
    Wednesday is the luckiest day of the week to commence any important work ot to sow crops.
    Thursday is the unluckiest day of the week. We should never start to sow crops or other work on Thursday.
