- On Saint Stephens day, boys from the country dress in all sort of costumes, with feathers in their hats, and playing mouth organs, come into the town of Castleblaney. They are called "Wren Boys", when going into a house for money. People are amused at them and always give them a small sum of money to get rid of them.
No one knows what use they put the money to, but thing they just divide it, and spend it
