"chickens" but the mother-hen runs in front of him. She keeps the "chickens" in a row behind her, holding on to each other. When the "hawk" catches a "chicken" "he" leaves it in "his nest" and then goes for another. "He" does this till "he" has them all "killed."
First of all when the "hawk" meets the "hen" he pretends he is working and this is the conversation which they have :
Hen : "What are you doing there?"
Hawk : "Looking for my needle."
Hen: "And what do you want the needle for?"
Hawk : "To sew a 'lock' of bags"
Hen : "And what do you want the bag for ?"
    Hawk : To gather sand."
