“One day a man went swimming in the middle lake. He had his valet with him and the valet told him that it was too dangerous to go in there.”
(ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)took not notice of the valets warning and he jumped in and was never seen afterwards. After two hours the valet went back to the hotel. When the man's friends saw the valet coming home without him they got very angry with the valet and they asked him and when he told them what happened they were very sorry. Three weeks afterwards when the people were eating their dinner they got a letter and when they opened the letter it said to send on the mans clothes that he arrived safely in Australia.
