- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)Not far from where I live there is a bog named Cloonmahon. Three or four years ago there were men cutting turf in this bog. At dinnertime, a little boy came with the dinner.
When they had their dinner eaten all the men started to smoke but this man used not smoke and he started to play with the little boy. Then they began to fire sods at each and the little boy hit the man on the face. The man got vexed and ran after the little boy and said he would drowned him. When he caught the little boy he held him over a bog hole with him head almost touching the water. The little boy thought he would let him fall in. so he gave a leap and fell into the bog hole and was drowned before the man caught him and pulled him out.
