  1. Once a priest in the parish was very found of horses. One time he had a horse grazng in Coney island near Sligo. One day he went to look at the horse. He brought a man from Strandhill with him. On their way home they were passing by a public house. The priest said they would go in for whiskey. The woman of the public house said she had no whiskey. The priest said she had whiskey. Then the woman of the house gave the whiskey, The priest saw a worm creeping on the floor. He put his shoe down on it. When he took his shoe up there was a shilling under it. The priests name was Fr Brewnan
