Ar an leathanach seo
- Innishmurray is an island in Sligo Bay and it lies south-west of Cliffoney, Parish of Ahamlish, Barony of Carbury, Co Sligo.
There are about fourteen families living on the island, but no Doctor or Priest resides there.
The sea between the mainland and the island is generally rough.
When a person is sick on the island, the neighbours take water from a well beside the sea and sprinkle three drops of it on the sea, which immediately becomes calm, and remains so until a boat goes to the mainland for the Priest or Doctor, returns to the island, goes back again to the mainland and returns to the island again.
The sea becomes as rough as ever again.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
