- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)of playing cards. One night there was a crowd of men gambling and telling stories in a small house near Killarney.
One of them said that at a every tree near a burying-ground the fairies had a cave. The man of the house who was very poor took his son with him to a tree and found the cave. He rested on a stone by the tree for a while.
At about eleven o'clock the door of the cave opened and out came a little man. He asked them to come in and they did so.
The little man got a big stick and opened a large press with it. He gave the man and his son a suit of clothes each, and gold, silver, jewels and valuable vessels.
They bought a castle and lived in it until they died.- Bailitheoir
