I wish you all a merry Christmas.
    And a bright New Year.
There are local customs held all the time. The people eat nuts and apples halloween night, to see how many people would be married that shrove. People put decorations in their houses during Christmas, in honour of the feast of Jesus Christ. They also eat eggs on Easter Sunday for one time they were forbidden to eat any eggs during Lent. After Lent they got a feast of them.
