    story told about this little flower. Long ago in the days of persecution in Ireland churches and monasteries were robbed and plundered and the sacred vessels and other valuable ornaments were stolen. Once we are told that some men robbed a certain church and took from it a Chalice containing some of the "Sacred Hosts". When they had gone some distance they dug a deep hole and buried the Chalice in it.
    Some time later there was a man passing the place where the Chalice was hidden and he perceived a very strange flower growing there. This man was very observant and he noticed that the flower bore a striking resemblance to the "Sacred Host", being a very good catholic he said he would take the flower root and all, home and
