If a person got of a bad cut and another person came to look at it, he would spit on it to make it better.
When a person had a wart on his hand he used to cure it by putting the frothy water off potatoes, when boiling, on it each day until it rotted away. Another way was to rub wet washing - soda on it until it would be burnt away.
When a persons small-tongue fell down he would go to a certain man who was able to cure it and this man, by pulling a certain hair in the victims head, would raise the small - tongue again.
It could also be raised by means of a spoon.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
