  1. Food in Olden Times
    In olden times, we are told that the people in Ireland lived mostly on fruit, although the country was overflowing with milk and honey. They used milk and honey, but they used to think that the fruit was the best food.
    Meat was very little used that time in Ireland. The people might buy a little bit for Sunday's dinner.
    After a while, the people found out the art of tilling the land. So they grew wheat and oats. They had a rough hand mill to grind the grain.
    This is the way they made the mill:- First, they got two flat stones and put a
