- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)Well. This well is called after the patron Saint of the Parish. It is very important well, and some skeletons were dug up near it, one being the remains of a priest. This well is neglected, as weed and grass are growing in and around it.The Hefferran Sthrame as it was best known is a long stream flowing through fields and lye-roads dividing Lord Palmer's estate from Lord Howth's. A mound is seen near the stream and it is said that fairies were often seen dancing around the place.
