    it was Boycott that brought them to it, but he sold them to Weldon. The goats went wild on the hill and they went out on the cliffs Weldon could not get them in, he had lost his money on them. When Boycott went to Galway the people refused to work for him, and from that we get the word Boycotted. There is a red stone behind at Corrymore gate and that was Boycott's seat in Corrymore.
