When he had his trousers filled he could not walk and so he thought he would sit down. When he was sitting for a while he could not get up, so he loosened the bottom of his trousers. When the gold was all out of his trousers he could get up still and he could not get up till he left the last coin on the ground and when he left down the last coin they vanished, and he heard the fairies laughing at him, and he had to go home without any gold at all.
