middle of it. This hole is always full of water, and although it is in the middle of a stream, the water never flows over it nor wets it. Mr. Baird threw this stone down, and broke it into four pieces, and threw them into the river Swilly. Later the four bits came together again it was on the land of Mr. Scott. Ever since, it is noticeable that Baird has lost more every year while Scott has gained more every year.
