  2. Another time when the Duke wanted a cook, he got word that there was one coming to look for the position; so he dressed up like a coachman and went to meet her. He soon met the cook and when they were coming home, they went through a small town. The cook did not know that it was the Dubke who was driving and she stopped and got a bottle of whiskey. When they reached home the Duke took of his coachmans clothes and told the cook to take herself and her
