- There is a hole on the side of a farmers hill, and it is called the money hole.It has
big rocks each side of it, and its about a yard long and two feet wide and it is four feet in depth.It is said that men have found money in it and that is how it got its name. By the side of the hole there is a big rock which one time lay over the hole. If any one should strike the rock it has a hollow sound. The big rock is a whin stone and a grey colour. Desmond O'Neill
