    Long ago there lived a king who had a beautiful wife.

At last she consented; but she said before she would marry him that she would have to get three things:- namely- a coat made of fur of all the the animals of the forest; and a dress as silvery as the stars and another as golden coloured as the moon.
    The king put all the best weavers in the land to weave the dresses. He sent the huntsmen to the forest to get a bit of fur from every animal. At the end of the days all that she required was ready and given to her. The marriage was to take place next day. That night she stole away from the palace and hid herself in a tree. The next day
