- In a place called Rooskey in the parish of Moygownagh there lived a family of the name of Munnelly. It consisted of one boy and three girls and their parents also. The boy was in the Fenian movement and became captain. He had one hundred men under his command. One of his own men turned traitor and gave information on Munnelly. So one night his house was surrounded by British soldiers. They entered the house and placed him under arrest.
