    He went along feeling until he came to a wall and he sat down along it for the night. When he was there a few hours he heard the wild cats talking the other side of the wall and this is what he heard them saying. "There is a girl sick in that house. I was within the other night and I was licking the vessels and I left ribs on them. Them ribs must have kittens made in her stomach and she will not be cursed except with a drop of water from that blessed well there below" The man started feeling until he came to the well and he put a sup of water into his eye and he had his eye back again and he did the same with the other and he had his two eyes back again. He got a bottle and filled it with water and he came to the house where this grand girl was sick. The house was filled with doctor and people of different kinds trying to to cure her ash she said that she would marry the person that would get a cure for her. This man asked leave to go up to the room to cure her but he would not be let at first. He was always wanting to go up until the people of the house told the girl herself and she told them to let him up.
    He went up and gave her a drop of the water and a kitten came up and out of her mouth. He done that for five times and each time one came up but the sixth time no on came. The girl got alright after a few days and he got married and both he and his wife was very happy. One day he was walking on the road and he met the man that said bread was stronger than God and he said to him, "Sé do bheath' how did you succeed?" The first man said "God helped me". The first man told him
