  1. Long ago the people had different cures for all kinds of sicknesses to what they have now. Nowadays they go to doctors and hospitals but at that time they had cures of their own. There was some person in some district that would have a cure for some illness.
    Some of the people's names were:- Betty Muldoon, Mary Murphy and Jane McDonell. All these people had cures for sicknesses. Betty Muldoon had a cure for a head-ache, and dust in one's eye. She used to cure the head-ache by putting a row of wollen-thread around the persons head and she would say some magic words while she would (say o) be placing in on the head.
    The way she used to take dust out was that she used to get a saucer of water
