  1. Once upon a time there was a man in England called Long Stockings who used to kill women. He came to Ireland and all women were afraid of him. When my father was a young man he dressed himself like a Black. My Aunt and alot of girls were at the Chapel Road and my father went up. All the girls were very much afraid, some passed him terrified
    The men hunted him with sprongs he then went to Burke's House. A man was sitting on coal in the coal house and he nearly hit my father with the sledge. Some found out who he was and went to the police. Only for the good sergeant he would be summoned.
