  1. We have the season of summer now.
Summer is a very joyful time.
There are three months in summer,
The days are long the nights are short.
The meadows in the fields are ripe, and fit for cutting.
The flowers are growing on the trees.
The blackberries are growing. The birds are to be heard singing in the sky, morning and evening and many times during the day.
The sun rises high in the sky and gives out great heat.
