  1. 1. Wild Sage is a cure for pains when it is boiled and strained and the liquid drank
    2. The Lus Mór- or soft leaves in the heart of the plant out of which the "Fairy Thimbles" grow - is good for healing a cut. The little hard thread on the back of the leaf should be pulled out and the leaf heated at the fire and applied to the cut.
    3. Rib-leaf and cream is good for a cut when it is ground up, and applied to the cut with a little cream[?].
    4. Camomile Root is a cure for a toothache. It should be put down on the aching tooth.
    5. Penny-leaf is good for boils and chilblains when heated at the fire, and applied to the sores.
    6. A Foxe's Tongue will draw a thorn or any foreign substance embedded in the flesh.
    7. Cobwebs are used to stop bleeding
