    in it. St. Brigids Day is called the Cross Day of the year. It is so called because the people long ago, used make crosses out of straw, and they used put them up outside on the roofs of their houses.
    November is called the Harvest of the Geese because the geese are fat after eating the póiríns.
    The three first days of April are called "Trí lá na Riabhche." This is why these days are called that name.
