  1. Novembers night comes on the last night of October. Young and old look forward to that night, of great merriment and joy. The old folk gather round the fire, telling fairy tales and talking of long ago.
    The children play many pleasant games. A tub of water is left on the floor, and an appel is put into it, then each child tries to catch the appel in his mouth
