    Long ago on St. John's Eve the people used to make Bonfires, and that custom is kept up still.
    First of all they gather bones and sticks and turf. They put the bones and sticks in the middle of the fire and they put the turf around them. Then they get oil and light. When it is fully lighted the old people do the stations of the Cross in honour
